Fifth Sunday After Epiphany
Sunday, February 8th at 9:30 a.m. Jesus encourages his followers to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world, doing good works and keeping God's commandments. Transfiguration of Our Lord Sunday, February 15th at 9:30 a.m. This Sunday is a celebration of light, enabling us to see the light of God’s glory in Jesus, which shines in us for others to see. Ash Wednesday Wednesday, February 18th Ash Wednesday is a time of confession, repentance, and renewal which sets us on a new path of discipleship for the season of Lent. Begin your Lenten journey with the sign of the cross traced on your forehead, a powerful symbol of dying to sin and rising to new life in Christ. Ashes to Go: 12:00-12:30 p.m. · Drive into the church entrance on the sanctuary (East) side of the church building and continue through the parking lot to the West side of the building. · Stop at the table to receive the Imposition of Ashes, and hear a brief scripture reading and prayer from Pastor Gail. · Continue on your day, marked with the cross of Christ.
